Main challenge before Azerbaijan is to reduce dependence on oil to zero - Mikayil Jabbarov

Azerbaijan's socio-economic development strategy for 2022-2030 was approved by the order President Ilham Aliyev

"The financial situation of four large state-owned companies, including SOCAR, is already improving,” said Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov during the discussion of the budget envelope for 2022 at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis, Qazet.az reports.

The Minister noted that Azerbaijan's socio-economic development strategy for 2022-2030 was approved by the order President Ilham Aliyev: “In this regard, 5 priorities have been defined. There are new economic challenges before the country. The main challenge is to reduce dependence on oil to zero.”
