Qazet.az reports that Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, said this in an interview with the German "Bild" newspaper.

According to him, the coldest winter is expected in Kyiv for the first time since the Second World War.

The mayor said that in addition to expected low temperatures, residents of Kyiv should prepare for the worst-case scenario due to widespread power outages as a result of Russian attacks.

V. Klitschko stressed that the government will be forced to evacuate a part of the city even if it does not want to.

He accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of attacking civilian infrastructures.
