On October 11, the next meeting of the Council of Interior Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held online, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Qazet.az.

Views on priority areas of cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Member States and the implementation situation of interstate programs on the fight against crime have been exchanged at the event, it was noted that the Council carried out broad and comprehensive work in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, organized crime, and human trafficking, and the organization was effective in exchanging experience and information in the CIS space.
