Qazet.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlud Çavuşoğlu wrote this on Twitter.
He wished success to Uzbekistan, which will chair the organization in 2023.
It should be noted that the 9th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the TDT was held today in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Azerbaijan is represented at the meeting by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijártó, who is represented in the TDT as an observer, also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the agenda of the summit meeting of the leaders of TDT member countries, which will be held in Samarkand tomorrow, November 11, and the documents to be signed were discussed.
It should be noted that the strategic action plan for the next 5-year activities of the organization will be adopted at the summit of TDT leaders.
It is also planned to make amendments to the document adopted after the meeting of TDT held in Nakhchivan on October 3, 2009 at the meeting.
Within the framework of the summit, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be presented with the "Highest Medal of the Turkish World" and the National Medal of Uzbekistan.
TDT includes Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Turkmenistan and Hungary are observer countries.
