Michael Doran: "Khankendi is not blocked, they are just trying to confuse the world"
"Khankendi is not under blockade, they are just trying to confuse the world."
Qazet.az reports that Michael Doran, a senior researcher at the Hudson Institute, wrote on Twitter.
He said that ambulances moving between the city of Khankendi in Azerbaijan and Armenia are not only a part of a big show that does not reflect the real situation, but also an indicator of the absence of a "hard blockade".
M. Doran also shared video footage showing ambulances and cars belonging to the Red Cross Committee moving freely along Lachin road to Khankendi and back, and wrote: "This is a "hard blockade" for you.
"There is no doctor in Khankendi? Ambulances can only come from Armenia? Well, let's see. These ambulances are part of a big show designed for narrow-minded people. You know it, I know it too," the post reads.
The senior researcher of the Hudson Institute emphasized that the Armenian people will live better after the normalization of relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan.
