Milli Majlis adopted the changes to the Civil Procedure Code
The Milli Majlis adopted the amendments to the Civil Procedure Code in the third reading.
According to Qazet.az reports with the change, a closed court hearing on morality and inheritance will not be held using the ideoconference communication system.
With the amendment, it will not be allowed to hold a closed court session using the video conference communication system in the cases provided for in Articles 10.2 ─ 10.4 of the Code.
Articles 10.2 - 10.4 of the Code are as follows:
- Cases are heard openly in all courts, with the exception of disclosure of state, professional, commercial secrets, dissemination of personal and family life secrets, interest of minors. During the performance of their duties, judges are allowed to work with state secrets without the verification measures provided for by the legislation.
- If the public review of cases affects the interests of justice in terms of morals, public order, state security in a democratic society, as well as other special circumstances, the trial or a part of it may be closed.
- A person participating in a court review may request that the court review be closed in order to protect adoption, inheritance, commercial, invention or tax secrets, as well as other secrets protected by law, as well as intimate matters of personal and family life.
