More than 16,000 tons of cotton were collected in Agjabedi region

To date, more than 16 thousand tons of cotton have been collected from fields in Agjabedi region.

According to the information, currently the average yield in the region is 14 centners. This year, 11,838 hectares of cotton were planted in Agjabedi district.

It should be noted that 447 cotton harvesters and 3,085 tractor trailers were involved in the harvesting process in the territory of the Republic. The number of techniques allows to collect almost 100% of the product by mechanical method.

This year, cotton was planted on more than 100,000 hectares in 16 districts across the country. Most cotton was planted in Saatli, Agjabadi, Sabirabad, Barda, Salyan, Neftchala and Beylagan regions. The volume of cotton fields in these regions is more than 8 thousand hectares.
