More than 2300 people expected to be returned to Azerbaijan from Europe - Service says

56 people have been readmitted to Azerbaijan 

"56 people have been readmitted to Azerbaijan this year," said the head of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov told, Qazet.az reports.

He noted that since the signing of the agreement on readmission with the European Union in 2014, 2069 people have been readmitted so far: "Readmission has been continued during the pandemic, carried out mainly through charter flights. In 2021, 420 people were readmitted, and this year 56 people. But a total of 2,322 people who were responded positively to the survey are also expected to be readmitted", said the head of the service.
