Official Baku appeals to Azerbaijani citizens in Ukraine

“At the same time, our citizens are recommended to follow the official information of the Ukrainian authorities” the Foreign Ministry said

Due to the situation in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has called on citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan on permanent and temporary residence in Ukraine not to travel to military bases (border regions in eastern Ukraine), as well as to stay away from military facilities, Qazet.az informs.

"Our citizens are advised to stay at home or in safe places and refrain from traveling unless necessary.

"At the same time, our citizens are recommended to follow the official information of the Ukrainian authorities.

"Our citizens can get information about special cases by calling the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kyiv (+380 73) 5050000 and e-mail [email protected] and the Honorary Consulate in Kharkiv (+38057) 7000531 and e-mail [email protected]. Depending on the development of the situation, additional information will be provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine," the Foreign Ministry said.
