The chairman added that the main purpose of visit to Azerbaijan is investigate all the facts on site
Our main purpose to visit Ganja is to investigate crimes committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan, on-site, as Chairman of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and delegations, said the chairman of the Committee Saeed Mohamed Abdulla Omair Alghfeli at the press conference held in Ganja, Qazet.az reports.
“We are already 3 days in Azerbaijan. When we came here, we met with Ombudsman and several government officials. The main purpose is to obtain information about accidents committed against Azerbaijani people. After the Baku visit, we visited Agdam city. While entering Agdam, we observed houses, facilities, museums destroyed by Armenians. As Delegation of the OIC Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission, our main mission is to investigate the facts that we saw on site. When we entered the city of Agdam, we witnessed Armenian vandalism. We saw destroyed and burnt houses by Armenians here. The destroyed museums in Agdam are a disrespect to history. Then we visited the Tartar region. The shelling of schools there is, of course, a violation of international human rights against the civilian population. All this creates a feeling of disappointment,” the chairman noted.
The chairman added that the main purpose of visit to Azerbaijan is investigate all the facts on site, to document them, obtain photos, video evidence, and prepare a report based on the collected materials. The declaration will then be sent to all international and independent bodies.
