Ombudsman: "The scope of the self-employment program should be expanded"

"The scope of the self-employment program in Azerbaijan should be expanded."

Qazet.az reports that this was said by Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva at the joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committees on Legal Policy and State Building, Defense, Security and Combating Corruption, Human Rights, International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations.

"This is important for supporting low-income families to create a private farm, start a business, increase their income, eliminate their dependence on targeted state social assistance, and reduce poverty," he said.
