Omicron sub-variant detected in Tabriz

Omicron subvariant of coronavirus infection was detected in Tabriz, said Huseyn Haqqayi, director of the Health Department of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Qazet.az reports according to APA.

He said that based on the coronavirus tests conducted in Iran's East Azerbaijan province, several cases of the new omicron substrain (BQ1 and XBB) were observed in the province.
