Over 300 applicants from disadvantaged families become students with support of BP project
According to Aslanbayli, the “Build your Future” project has been implemented for five years to make education more accessible
As many as 63 applicants from disadvantaged families in Azerbaijan entered higher education institutions and colleges with the support of the BP project, Qazet.az informs.
In this regard, an event was held in Baku with the participation of BP Vice President for the Caspian region, Communications and Advocacy, Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli.
According to Aslanbayli, the “Build your Future” project has been implemented for five years to make education more accessible. As a company that has been active in Azerbaijan for about 30 years, BP plans to continue its activities by participating in the social life of the country, including contributing to the development of education, the vice president added.
As part of the “Build your Future” project, 52 applicants from low-income families, who got high scores upon admission, became university students, and another 11 people entered colleges.
He noted that over the five years, 334 Azerbaijani citizens have been admitted to universities thanks to this program.
