Peaceful protest action on the Khankendi-Lachin road continues on the first day of the new year

The protest against the illegal exploitation of useful deposits in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan on the Khankendi-Lachin road has been going on for twenty one days.

The employee of Qazet.az sent to Shusha reports that the action, which started in the morning on December 12, continued throughout the last night.

During the night, there were no incidents during the action, where security rules were followed at a high level.

As usual, the protesters opened this morning with the singing of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan.

Despite the frosty weather at the moment, eco-activists are raising posters written in Azerbaijani, Russian and English on both sides of the road and chanting slogans without obstructing the movement.

The demands of the participants of the action remain unchanged, as they have been since the first day.

Thus, eco-activists and young volunteers "Azerbaijan is awake, it supports its wealth!", "Azerbaijan is united, it owns its wealth!", "Stop environmental crime!", "Stop ecoterror!", "Beregithe nature!", "Ecocidu нет! Monitoring also !" they chant their slogans.
