Pensions will increase this much next year

Pensions in Azerbaijan are expected to increase by 14.5-15 percent next year.

Musa Guliyev, chairman of the Labor and Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis, told Qazet.az reports

He noted that the increases will apply to all pensioners.

The chairman of the committee emphasized that social protection costs will account for approximately 48 percent of the state budget next year.

It should be noted that in the draft law "On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023", as in previous years, the state budget of 2023 was also predicted to be pro-social. In 2023, 15.2 billion manats are planned for this purpose, which is 1.3 billion manats or 9.3 percent more than in 2022.

The revenues of the state budget for 2023 are predicted to be 30.7 billion manats, which is the highest indicator in the country's history, 5.2 percent more than in 2022, and 16.4 percent more than in 2021.
