Georgian political scientist Gela Vasadze told this to Qazet.az reports

According to him, the current French authorities and President Macron personally have an extremely hostile attitude towards Azerbaijan, and on the contrary, an extremely positive attitude towards Armenia: "France, which has a hostile attitude towards Turkey and Pakistan, has very tense relations with Israel, Great Britain and Italy".

The political scientist emphasized that the reason for this trend is that these states have very close relations with Azerbaijan: "Among other issues, France hopes to fill the political vacuum caused by Russia's inevitable exit from the region."

Vasadze said that the anti-Azerbaijan resolution recently adopted by the French Senate will have a negative impact on the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations: "All this is because the official goal of Paris is not to normalize the situation in the South Caucasus, but to replace Russia in the region from a political point of view." .
