Qazet.az reports that this was included in the congratulatory letter addressed by the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

"For many centuries, the Caucasus has been a region where different cultures have met and played a major role in the unification of the East and the West. Today, at a time when the world is facing numerous challenges and undergoing serious changes, our countries can play an important role in strengthening peace and stability not only in our region, but in the world as a whole. I am sure that , we will spare no effort, use this rare opportunity to further strengthen our strategic partnership, turn the Caucasus into a center of communication and a place of global security and stability that reflects the historical ethnic identity of our region," the letter stated.
