President: The people of Azerbaijan highly appreciate the political and moral support of Pakistan
"Pakistan has always been by our side, whether during the occupation, during the war, or after the liberation of our lands. This political and moral support is highly appreciated by the people of Azerbaijan."

Qazet.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev made these comments in his speech at the opening of the international conference on "Along the Middle Corridor: geopolitics, security and economy" held at ADA University on November 25.

"In the last two months, I have met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif twice and we discussed the agenda of our bilateral relations, the agenda of friendship and brotherhood. We are grateful to Pakistan for its constant support in the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations. Whether during the occupation, during the war, or "Pakistan has always been by our side after the liberation of our lands. This political and moral support is highly appreciated by the people of Azerbaijan," the President noted.

Emphasizing that he and the Prime Minister of Pakistan discussed the revival of commercial and economic relations, the head of state said: "We discussed what products we can supply each other with. If we can buy quality rice from our brother country, why should we buy it from others?"
