Qazet.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this in his speech at the international conference on "Along the Middle Corridor: geopolitics, security and economy" held at ADA University on November 25.

"Azerbaijan is doing everything possible to increase gas transport through the Trans-Adriatic pipeline. We are doing our best to increase the supply of energy carriers," said the President.

"We are aware of the problems experienced during the construction of the TAP pipeline, but I would like to state that they are artificial. However, thanks to Azerbaijan's serious approach to these problems, our country has managed to improve the supply of energy carriers to Italy. We are aware of the increasing demand for Azerbaijani gas in Italy. However, TAP pipeline "There is a need to increase the capacity of the pipeline. We cannot do it unilaterally because our share in the TAP project is 20 percent. However, I hope a decision will be made as soon as possible because TAP is already operating at full capacity," he said.
