Qatari investors were invited to take advantage of the opportunities in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is located at the intersection of important transport hubs and has become a transit "hub", Qatari investors can take advantage of these opportunities.

Qazet.az reports according to Report informs that this was mentioned in the meeting of Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov with Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Investment Authority Mansur bin Ebrahim Al Mahmud.

At the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening the economic relations of our countries, promoting joint investments with Azerbaijan Investment Holding and Azerbaijan Investment Company, expanding cooperation in the field of renewable energy, and it was emphasized that increasing mutual investments will contribute to the development of other fields.

In the meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the successes achieved under the leadership of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, the rapid development of Azerbaijan-Qatar cooperation, and the importance of high-level visits in the expansion of relations were emphasized. The Minister of Economy said that there is a great potential for strengthening the partnership between our countries, and in this regard, the implementation of joint projects and initiatives is of particular importance. At the meeting, information was given on the economy of Azerbaijan, and prospects for the future development of cooperation were mentioned.

X. Tani emphasized the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar, his country's interest in the development of relations with Azerbaijan, and shared his views on strengthening the partnership.

The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation between the two countries in energy, transport-logistics, mutual investment and other areas of the economy.

In the meeting with the personal representative of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, views were exchanged on the development of bilateral relations and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar on the upward line, mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as strengthening of relations in investment-trade and other fields.

As part of the visit to Qatar, the Azerbaijani delegation also met with the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of this country. At the event, satisfaction was expressed with the initiatives to expand cooperation between the business circles of our countries. It was noted that the expansion of relations between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar and the relevant institutions of Azerbaijan, the organization of joint events can stimulate the development of business dialogue and the implementation of new projects. It was noted that there are active business relations between the business circles of our countries, businessmen cooperate in various areas of the economy, a number of Azerbaijani products are sold in Qatari trade networks. It was emphasized that the Azerbaijan Trade House opened in Qatar, the exchange of information about products with export potential will contribute to the strengthening of the economic-trade partnership.
