Republican Rehabilitation Center suspends admission over coronavirus

Due to the detection of the COVID-19 virus in several people with disabilities admission to the facility has been temporarily suspended until 31.01.2022

The Republican Rehabilitation Center of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population has been suspended the admission due to coronavirus infection, Tural Gurbanov, head of the Agency's Public Relations Department told Qazet.az.

The Republican Rehabilitation Center provides medical and social rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Due to the detection of the COVID-19 virus in several people with disabilities who have recently received services at the 50-bed facility, admission to the facility has been temporarily suspended until 31.01.2022 to prevent the spread of the virus.

At present, preventive measures are underway at the center and disinfection work is carried out. Admission will resume after the mentioned date.
