Russia and China will soon conduct joint naval exercises called "Sea Defense".

Qazet.az reports that the information was released by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

The ministry said that the missile-artillery exercises will be held in the East China Sea.

According to information, the flagship of the Russian Pacific Fleet "Varyag" cruiser, "Marshal Shaposhnikov" frigate and two corvettes will take part in the military event.

The exercises are planned to be held on December 21-27.
