"Russia hopes that joint activities in all directions of the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations will soon be restored."

Qazet.az reports that this was said by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin in an interview with TASS.

"We believe that in the current case, the period of agreement of the document is not so important. The main thing is that official Baku and Yerevan can reach a mutually acceptable solution that will guarantee a stable and fair peace in the region," the diplomat said.

According to him, official Moscow is ready to help the negotiation process in accordance with the provisions established in the tripartite statement signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia based on the results of the summit held in Sochi on October 31.
