Russia is the main gas source for Turkey

In January-August, Russia ranked first in Turkey's total gas imports

In January-August this year, Russia exported 18 790,65 million cubic meters of "blue fuel" to Turkey, which is 2,7 times more in annual comparison, according to the calculations conducted by Qazet.az based on the information of Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

In January-August, Russia ranked first in Turkey's total gas imports. According to the information of EMRA, Turkey imported 6 891,94 million cubic meters of gas from Russia in January-August 2020.
