Russia records over 100,000 COVID cases per day
More than 6,300 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized per day, 17.6% less than the day before
Over the past day, medical experts recorded 106,920 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Qazet.az informs referring to Russian media.
Also, more than 6,300 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized per day, 17.6% less than the day before.
The total number of registered cases in the country has reached 16,398,036 since the pandemic onset.
To date, a total of 351,660 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 733 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 13,575,652.
More than 436 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 5.96 million lives, though unable to cope with 366.57 million patients, who managed to recover.
