Russia records over 135,000 COVID cases per day

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 135,172 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Qazet.az informs referring to Russian media.

The total number of registered cases in the country has reached 15,657,928 since the pandemic onset.

To date, a total of 347,031 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 796 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 12,657,025.

More than 426.6 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 5.91 million lives, though unable to cope with 353.92 million patients, who managed to recover.
