Odesa’s mayor says Russian forces have struck buildings on the outskirts of the key Black Sea port city for the first time.

New curfew announced in Kyiv, with measure set to last from Monday evening until Wednesday morning after deadly strikes kill eight in the capital, Qazet.az reports.

Ukraine rejects Russian demand to surrender the besieged southern port city of Mariupol by 5am Moscow time (02:00 GMT).

Moscow had claimed it would allow civilians and soldiers to evacuate the city as long as its defenders put down their arms.
