Russian expert says 'necessary' to condemn Armenian provocation near Shusha
"All countries of the former union have resolved this issue, except Azerbaijan, since its lands have been under occupation for almost 30 years," Sergei Markov stressed
The provocation committed by the Armenian extremist near the city of Shusha must be duly condemned, said Russian expert Sergei Markov, who is visiting Shusha, Qazet.az informs.
"The Armenian extremist who threw a grenade at the Azerbaijani soldiers was detained by Russian peacekeepers," he said, noting that the perpetrators must be punished.
According to him, the Karabakh conflict is over, and no one doubts that Karabakh is Azerbaijani land. As a result of the 44-day Patriotic War, Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity. Now it is necessary to start procedures for the delimitation and demarcation of the borders between the two countries.
"All countries of the former union have resolved this issue, except Azerbaijan, since its lands have been under occupation for almost 30 years," he stressed.
