Russian MFA comments on co-chairs visit to region

The official of Russian MFA also touched upon contacts of the co-chairs within the UN General Assembly

We once again affirm the evaluating of efforts of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs positively by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during the press conference held on September 25, said Alexei Zaytsev, Deputy Director of the Press and Information Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry at the briefing held today, Qazet.az reports.

The official of Russian MFA also touched upon contacts of the co-chairs within the UN General Assembly. He noted that it means the sides come to agreement with the visit of co-chairs to the region and first of all solving the duties in the region.

“As the head of Russian MFA noted it is primarily about expanding and strengthening positive trends, ensuring livelihoods, as well as cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Armenian communities. When it comes to the date of the visit of the co-chairs, they will only disclose it when they consider it necessary,” A. Zaytsev stressed.
