"Russia has handed over comprehensive proposals regarding the peace treaty to Azerbaijan and Armenia."

Qazet.az reports with reference to the Russian press that this was said by the spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Maria Zakharova.

He said that Russia provides comprehensive assistance to the normalization of relations between the parties, including the preparation of a peace agreement.

"Our comprehensive proposals have been presented to Yerevan and Baku. As we already reported, the special representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Igor Khovayev, made several visits to the region to conduct consultations on this issue. There were such visits especially in September."
