Search for servicemen, missing in the Patriotic War, continues

Kh. Valiyev has noted that intensive operational-investigation measures, emergent investigation actions, numerous expertises have been conducted by employees of Military Prosecutor's Office

"Necessary measures have been taken on the identification of those, who were killed in combat operations, by using the help of relevant public bodies, and handing them over relevantly," said Military Prosecutor Khanlar Valiyev at the board meeting on results of the previous year, Qazet.az reports.

Kh. Valiyev has noted that intensive operational-investigation measures, emergent investigation actions, numerous expertises have been conducted by employees of Military Prosecutor's Office together with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Security Service: "Regular work has been done in this direction by search groups, consisting of employees of the Ministries of Defense and Emergency Situations. 2,908 persons, as well as missing servicemen, have been identified and bodies have been handed over to their families so far. Implementation of operational-investigation measures is continued for determination of place of missing 6 servicemen, regular work is conducted by search groups."
