Shusha has been nominated for “Cultural Capital of Turkic World” in 2023, Minister of Culture Anar Karimov wrote on Twitter, Qazet.az reports.

The minister attending the 38th ministerial meeting of Turksoy held in Khiva city of Uzbekistan Anar Karimov stressed that he spoke about the cooperation of our country with the organization, destruction of historical and cultural monuments in Karabakh, the Patriotic War.

He noted that Shusha was nominated for “Cultural Capital of Turkic World” in 2023.
