Siyavush Novruzov: "Student paying for the deficit is a formalized form of bribery"
"The relocation of those who need it cannot be prevented. For example, people living in Nakhchivan have such problems."
Qazet.az reports with reference to apa that Siyavush Novruzov, the chairman of the regional affairs committee of the parliament, said this at the meeting of the Milli Majlis held today.
The deputy said that the problems related to transfers were voiced here:
"It is clear to all of us that earlier there were many transfers from Dagestan and Georgia. We know what this is for. Of course, there were no transfers from Harvard University?!".
Siyavush Novruzov said that there is a need to restore the issue of correspondence and evening education:
"If there is evening education, students can work and study at the same time. There are no campuses for the requirements. Students are forced to stay in rent. Many universities have switched the fractions to paid. This is a formalized form of bribery. Previously, the teacher received money and wrote grades. Now, money is paid for the fraction. is given, he sits in the class. The student already pays the tuition fee. When the parent asks for the report of the money he has paid, he is not answered. If a student has 6 deficits, he has to pay the deficit amounting to half of the tuition fee. On the other hand, student scholarships should be increased and brought to the minimum subsistence level ".
