Siyavush Novruzov: The air smells of gunpowder Siyavush Novruzov
"The air smells of gunpowder."

Qazet.az reports that Siyavush Novruzov, a deputy of the Milli Majlis, said these words during his speech at the plenary session of the parliament held on November 17.

"The path to national revival and national freedom is connected with the name of national Heydar Aliyev. This process led to the independence of Azerbaijan," the deputy added.

According to him, today, on the eve of the 200th anniversary of the Treaty of Turkmenchay, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev is the only person whose picture is plastered on the walls of the heart of Azerbaijan, Tabriz, Ardabil, Khoy and other places. His name is called as the leader of the Azerbaijani people, the conqueror of Karabakh. I want to tell our southern brothers that this conquest will not end only with Karabakh, we will witness more innovations than its conquest. Therefore, when we are discussing the budget here, we should not focus on the small issues of the events happening in the world, but we should raise the global issues.

You know the smell of gunpowder is in the air today. From this point of view, I suggest that security and defense issues should be widely covered in the budget. On the one hand, France, on the other hand, Iran, on the other hand, Russia sends a decree. In such a period, we are talking not only about military defense, but also about military, diplomatic, informational, socio-economic, and food security. This is one of the global issues that we need to solve. Together with the government, we must strike together like a fist, the activities of the government must be supported, the necessary laws must be adopted."

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova added that Azerbaijan has no eyes on the land of any state.
