State Border Service continues measures in the field of ensuring reliable protection of the state border, fight against illicit trafficking in drugs, psychotropic substances, and weapons, the press service of SBS told Qazet.az.

During September, as a result of the vigilance of the Horadiz and Goytepe frontier troops of the State Border Service, smuggling of 28 kilograms 240 grams of drugs, 1,620 psychotropic and potent drugs, as well as weapons and ammunition from Iran to Azerbaijan has been prevented.
