Rovshan Najaf, the first vice-president of SOCAR, met with Kadri Simson, EU Commissioner for Energy Issues, he wrote on his Twitter account, Qazet.az reports.

"We had discussions on increasing gas production in Azerbaijan, the prospects for expansion of TANAP and TAP pipelines, and the importance of EU support in this regard."
