"It is very difficult to imagine. I left the other side of the water 42 years ago. The longing for the Motherland that we have suffered for a long time is very difficult", said A. Obalı.
He noted that Khudafar's bridge was built not to divide the people of Azerbaijan into two, not to separate one side of Araz from the other side, but to connect them:
"This bridge connects the right and left banks of the river. However, I regret that this bridge has been known as the bridge of longing until now. But, despite this, now it is about to get the name of unity bridge.
Ahmet Obali emphasized that despite being in exile for many years, he never lost faith in the unification of these lands.
"We have always continued our struggle in the direction of the illumination of the blood-saturated water of Araz and the unification of our people."
