"Swine flu has started to spread again in Armenia."

Qazet.az reports  with reference to "Sputnik Armenia" that Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan said this at the briefing held after the government meeting.

According to him, although the situation related to the coronavirus has stabilized relatively, the cases of influenza infection are increasing.

The minister reminded that cases of influenza infection increase in winter, as always, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, this virus has receded into the background in the last two or three years: "Unfortunately, the H1N1 (swine flu) strain is spreading again. This is quite dangerous."

A. Avanesyan once again urged children under 12 years old and citizens with chronic diseases to be vaccinated against influenza.

The minister also emphasized that the vaccines contain antibodies against H1N1.
