Switzerland's State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Livia Leuna, stated that she is ready to contribute to the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Qazet.az reports that this was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA).

Thus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Livia Leuna, the bilateral negotiations on the elements of the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the issues arising therefrom, the current situation on the opening of communications and the delimitation process, as well as the government of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories. He gave detailed information about the works done by, including the danger of mines in our territories.

At the meeting, issues included in the agenda of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland, cooperation within the framework of international organizations, as well as regional security issues were discussed.

In her turn, State Secretary Livia Leu pointed out that the negotiations on the elements of the peace agreement are important, and that Switzerland is ready to continue contributing to the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

During the conversation, views were also exchanged on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

The meeting took place within the framework of participation in the 29th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the OSCE held in Lodz, Poland.
