Table tennis competition held in Lankaran

As part of the "BEAKTİF" European Sports Week project organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a table tennis competition was held at Lankaran Olympic Sports Complex.

Qazet.az report according to by the Table Tennis Federation, approximately 70 athletes from Lankaran, Astara, Masallı, Lerik, Celilabad, Bilasuvar, Saatli, Sabirabad, Salyan, Hajigabul, Şirvan, Imişli and Beylagan participated in the tournament.

According to the results of the interesting competition, Gullu Gafarova (Salyan) received the main prize by becoming first. Fatima Alakbarova (Salyan) came in second and Azerin Gafarova (Salyan) came in third.

The men's challenge was won by Ilkin Abdulov (Shirvan). After him Mehman Samadov (Salyan) won the silver and Elnur Yahyayev (Salyan) won the bronze.

In addition to valuable athletes, paralympic athletes Vusal Sadigov and Madina Nehmatova were presented with gifts from AGN and Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation for their active participation.
