TAP to transport hydrogen, biomethane within 5 years

According to the Executive Director, alongside with gas, TAP will transport hydrogen and biomethane via the existing infrastructure within 5 years

The volume of gas transported to Italy via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), which carries Azerbaijani gas to Europe, can be reached 7 billion cubic meters by the end of this year, said Executive Director of TAP Luca Schieppati, Qazet.az reports citing Italian media.

According to the Executive Director, alongside with gas, TAP will transport hydrogen and biomethane via the existing infrastructure within 5 years.
