The US electric car company "Tesla" will recall more than 435 thousand "Model 3" and "Model Y" cars from China due to a malfunction in the marker lights.

Qazet.az reports that "Xinhua" agency of the East Asian country published information about this.

It was reported that the rear side lights on both sides of the electric cars may not work due to an error in the software when starting the cars. This increases the risk of accidents in low visibility conditions.

According to information, 142 thousand of the recalled vehicles are Model 3 cars produced from December 2020 to November 2022, and 293 thousand are Model Y cars produced from January 2021 to November 2022. Tesla will release an update to fix the bug.
