The acceptance period for the selection of the singer and song to represent Azerbaijan in "Eurovision-2023" has been extended
Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (ITV), the official broadcaster of the international Eurovision Song Contest in Azerbaijan, has extended the reception time, taking into account the numerous applications for the selection of singers and songs that will represent our country in the Eurovision-2023 contest.

Qazet.az reports was informed about this by Public Television.

Azerbaijani singers and composers who want to participate in the selection should send their performances, demo songs or new songs prepared for Eurovision to the e-mail address [email protected] by January 15 at 22:00.

The demo versions of the songs to be sent must be fully prepared (lyrics, performance, timing) and comply with the rules of the Eurovision Song Contest. According to the rules of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the duration of the song should not exceed 3 minutes. The song must not be released for commercial purposes, broadcast in public resources or mass media (via television, radio or the Internet) before September 1, 2022. Everyone who will participate in the elections must provide a brief information about himself.

It should be noted that the "Eurovision-2023" song contest will take place in Liverpool on May 9, 11 and 13.
