The ancient capital Karagorum will be restored in Mongolia
The President of Mongolia, Ukhnaaqin Khurelsukh, ordered the restoration of Karagorum, which was the capital in the Middle Ages.

Qazet.az reports with reference to the Russian mass media that "Central Asia" writes about this.

"Karagorum, the ancient capital, is a historical and cultural heritage that shows that the Mongol Empire was the political and economic center of the world at that time," the President said after signing the restoration decree.

It should be noted that the city of Karagorum (meaning "Black stones" in the ancient Turkish language - ed.) founded by Genghis Khan was the capital of the Great Mongol Empire in the period of prosperity in 1235-1264. Now there is a Karagorum history museum on the site of the city, which was opened in 2011.
