The blitz chess championship of Azerbaijan has been concluded.
According to the information provided to Qazet.az reports by the federation, three chess players have collected 7 points from 9 rounds. According to additional indicators, Aydın Süleymanlı won the title of the winner of the competition.
Vugar Asadli and Rauf Mammadov took the second and third places, respectively.
In the women's competition, Gulnar Mammadova was the first by collecting 6 points from 7 games. Mrs. Balajayeva finished the championship in second place with 5.5 points, and Turkan Mammadyarova finished in third place with 4.5 points.
Thus, the chess players who will participate in the rapid and blitz world championship to be organized in Kazakhstan have been determined.
Rauf Mammadov, Vugar Asadli, Aydın Suleymanli, Laman Hajiyeva, Gulnar Mammadova and Khanim Balajayeva, who scored the most points in the two competitions, qualified for the world championship.
