The batch of biologically active food product brought to Azerbaijan was found to be unusable
The batch of biologically active food product imported to Azerbaijan was found to be unusable.

Qazet.az reports was informed about this by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA).

It was reported that within the framework of the implemented control measures, "Zink Godarov Capsule #30" trademarked biological product with a total weight of 217 kg (10,000 pieces) was imported by the legal entity "Jala Pharma" LLC from the company "S.C.Laboratorale Medica S.R.L" operating in Romania. samples were taken from the active food product by the inspectors of the Agency and involved in examinations in the relevant laboratory of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute. As a result of examinations, it was found that the amount of heavy metals (Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd)) in the samples exceeded the norm.

An appropriate decision was made by the Agency regarding the destruction of a batch of biologically active food products unsuitable for consumption.
