The capacity of 2 blocks of "Azerbaijan" NPP will be increased 3 times

The capacity of the 7th and 8th power blocks of the "Azerbaijan" Thermal Power Station of the Azerenerji Open Joint Stock Company will be increased 3 times.

Qazet.az report that this is mentioned in the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan on the implementation of additional measures related to the improvement of electricity supply in the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed today.

According to the order, it is planned to increase the power of the 7th and 8th power units with a capacity of 600 MW by 1,280 MW by applying additional modern technologies to the existing equipment of "Azerbaijan" TPP.
