The date of the start of the new season of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Championship has been announced
The 2022-2023 season of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Championship will start on December 15.

According to the information of Qazet.az report  with reference to Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, the season will start with the debut club of the High League among men's volleyball players "Khari Bulbul" and MOIK teams.

The meeting will be at 14:00. After that, the official opening ceremony of both women's and men's volleyball championships will be held.

Unlike previous years, this year both the women's and men's championships will be called the High League. In the women's competition, "Azerrail", "Absheron", "Murov" and UNEC clubs will fight for the title of champion. In the men's competition, MOIK will test the strength of "Neftchi", "Murov" and "Khari Bulbul", which will represent the cultural capital of Shusha.

The competition of women's and men's volleyball players will consist of 6 rounds. If there is a tie at the end, the champion will be declared based on the number of wins.

The opening ceremony and games of the championships will be held at the "Volleyball Center".

In December, I league competitions between women's and men's volleyball players will also start.
