Qazet.az reports that MP Elnur Allahverdiyev said this at the joint meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship and Agrarian Policy Committees of the Milli Majlis.

"Early in the morning, meat is bought from wholesalers for 8 manats. In such a case, I am interested in why this product is sold in Baku for 18 manats. What methodology is used to calculate the price of meat? Maybe there really is some duty in the country, we don't know?", asked the deputy. applied.

According to him, the price of meat rose from 13 manats to 15 manats and then to 18 manats in just two months.
