The draft on requiring a driver's license to drive a moped was adopted
Milli Mejlis adopted the proposed amendments to the Law "On Traffic" regarding the requirement of a driver's license to drive a moped in Azerbaijan in the third reading.

Qazet.az report  that according to the proposed change to the law, it was proposed to provide all vehicles with a design maximum speed of more than 50 km/h with a state registration plate and moped drivers with a speed of more than 50 km/h to get a driver's license.

Considering that the number of moped drivers is currently in the thousands, the law is proposed to come into force in 6 months.
